March 15, 2006 Area Cochea (Charlotte and the Szalkowski girls)
Good Morning from Panama,
Yesterday Charlotte“s heart rate became dangerously high and she began to feel tightness in her chest. After returning to the hotel and resting for the afternoon, our doctors have released her to return to the field this morning, albeit at a lower activity level. That meant that yesterday, Amy was elevated to team leader for the afternoon. I was able to join them for the evening cell group meeting and service. Amy was willing to give up some of her responsibilities and delegated those to me. Amy and the girls have been sharing their testimonies and the Gospel with many and even have had the opportunity to follow up with some of those they led to the Lord on Monday.
Please lift Charlotte up in prayer for strength and peace. Also we have another mission team in a different city in Panama right now. On that team we have an elderly man who also went down yesterday with chest pains. Please pray that these warrriors will be able to get back on their feet at full strength today.
I notice that a couple of my posts did not go out in an e-mail yesterday. So be sure to check http://toddszalkowski.blogspot.com daily for updates from the field.
